We are beyond thrilled to have one of our custom-built homes featured in the October 2018 issue of Welcome Home Des Moines magazine. The article focuses on the Heck family, and the building of their beautiful home on a rural development in Earlham, Iowa.
Their traditional and timeless design has an extensive focus on details. We can’t take all the credit because our wonderful clients came with a list of already established desires and ideas, but working with clients who already have decided what their perfect home entails makes our job just a bit easier and just as much fun.
One of the key features of this home are the huge windows framing their breathtaking view of the nature surrounding them. Warm hardwood floors, extensive built-ins, and an open kitchen, along with lots of other well-researched ideas make this home inviting and comfortable, yet it also has quite a bit of formal flair.

There was really no idea left unthought of. Some of the fun elements we were able to incorporate into the plan include an outdoor kitchen, a “grocery-getter” door opening into the pantry for easier transferring of groceries from the car and a dog shower for the canine members of the family.
